The World Bank Group (WBG) and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) have the pleasure to invite you to attend the launch of the most recent edition of the World Bank flagship Report “Economic Update for Europe and Central Asia”. The event is set to take place on Monday, May 20, 2024, between 10:00 – 12:00, at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Piața Romană 6, Bucharest), in the Aula Magna Hall.
During the event, the WBG will present the findings of its recent report, examining the economic trends in Europe and Central Asia (ECA), noting growth shifts, inflation declines, future challenges, and the impact of private sector dynamism and innovation for sustained prosperity, urging reforms to boost productivity and competitiveness amidst geopolitical risks and policy uncertainties.
